TRANSFER PIPE / FITTINGS

• Used for the way of material transport, such as grain or powder and the air way, either clean or dusty air.
• Material pipe has slightly thicker wall than air duct, due to higher load and possible physical friction between wall and material.
• For increasing visibility, some of pipe segment can be complemented by transparent plastic pipe.
• Other than pipe, usually there are other similar accessories such as elbow and transition piece.

SLIDE GATE [SLGT]

Used for metering material flow or closing the whole flow. Normally slide gate are manually operated by using rotating wheel, but for higher automation requirements, electrical and pneumatic actuator may be embedded onto the gate as the actuator.

BUTTERFLY VALVE [BTVL]

This valve commonly used for metering the flow of material or air. Most of cases are hand-operated, while other can be operated using pneumatic or electrical actuator.

For metering air flow, larger size duct, preferable more than 250 mm are using multi-vane configuration for higher efficiency.

FLOW DIVERTER / TWO-WAY VALVE [TWDV]

This component are very useful to change direction of the material or air flow. For seldom flow switching process, manual lever are preferable, where for routine operation, electric or pneumatic actuator are used.

ROTARY VALVE [RTVL]

Has unique capability of sealing air, which also commonly known as air lock. Rotary valve are mainly used at dust collector outlet, such as at cyclone separator or pulse-jet bag filter. It also has metering function, which means regulating material flow. Although it called air-lock, every rotary valve still always has air leakage, yet the high-quality one has least of air leakage.

HOPPER / STORAGE TANK [STTK]

Used for temporarily storing powder or grain. Different construction materials are utilized, for example Stainless Steel 304 for food-grade, Stainless Steel 316 for pharmaceutical-grade, Hot-dip Galvanized Steel for outdoor use and Mild Steel A36 for indoor use.
